BBright UHD-Decode already provides the largest set of features, with Ultra HD HEVC 4:2:0/4:2:2 decoding capabilities up to 120 Mbps, HDMI 2.0b / 12-SDI / Quad 3G-SDI outputs, Dolby audio bit stream pass-through, video up/downscale capabilities, closed captioning video burning and many more.
Thanks to BBright’s 100 percent software-based processing, the UHD-Decode is constantly improving and continues to include new features to closely follow the never stopping 4K / UHD technological evolutions. Laurent Appercel, BBright Marketing and Business Development Director, explained: “BBright UHD-Decode is currently widely deployed at Tier 1 MSO networks. UHD-Decode large set of features gives our customers the ability to use a single solution for multiple Ultra HD decoding applications: UHD HDR contribution monitoring, contribution decoding, delivery monitoring, new audio formats monitoring… Leveraging BBright’s open REST API, our customers can easily integrate such decoder into their existing infrastructure. BBright was the first company to provide broadcast quality SDR to HDR up-conversion in 2016 and we continue to extend our portfolio of HDR conversions on our products.”
