SAFC Welcomes Presiding Member Peter Hanlon and Member Anton Andreacchio

Film maker and retired banking industry executive, Peter Hanlon has been appointed Presiding Member of the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC).

He replaces John Hill, who has made such a significant and dedicated contribution to our screen culture during his three year term as Chair, SAFC thanks him for his commitment, guidance and leadership.

Peter Hanlon has a wealth of experience in business, the arts and management. He started his career in the RAAF as an engineer before transitioning into a successful career in the banking industry. He is now pursuing his long-term personal interest in film as a writer, producer and director for his film production company, Living Not Beige Films. His passion for film and music and his experience in business make him highly suitable for this important role.

In addition, SAFC is also pleased to welcome Anton Andreacchio, who joins the SAFC as a Board Member. Anton is a producer and entrepreneur, working across a range of media industries and is the Managing Director of Jumpgate, a leading Australian virtual reality company. Since establishing his first company Invergen in 2010, he has had involvement with projects ranging from Australia-China feature film co-productions, infrastructure visualisation and VR applications for high performance sport.
