Grass Valley Appoints New VP in Asia Pacific

Continuing to strengthen its staff with key hires to support new growth in emerging markets, Grass Valley has named Andy Srinivasan as its new Vice President in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Based in Singapore, Srinivasan will assume the responsibility of General Manager of the South Asia Region as well as for developing and implementing a series of strategic initiatives for the company aimed at widening and deepening its engagement in Asia.
“We are delighted to have such an experienced executive joining us,” said Andrew Sedek, Senior Vice President for Grass Valley’s Asia Pacific region. “With his expertise in Asia, we will be able to ensure a successful future for Grass Valley and our customers across the entire region.”
A 30-year veteran of the Asian market, Srinivasan has distinguished himself by successfully managing sales, customer support and turnkey service solutions across the region. In addition he has established development centers in Asia for services, engineering and product design.
Prior to joining Grass Valley, Srinivasan performed well in a variety of senior management roles in the APAC region. He served as Senior Corporate Director and Head of Asia Pacific Storage business at Sun Microsystems in Singapore and at StorageTek as Regional Managing Director for Asia.
