The Melbourne design team Iloura has three new faces to its Commercials and Design teams. Nikhil Bora and Garry Jull have joined the Design department and are at work on some big projects with the rest of the team. Nikhil is fresh from uni and has had some work experience gigs, and Garry moved over from Boffswana with skills in interactive design.
Patrick Da Cunha joined the Iloura Commercials team full-time as a Senior 3D Artist. Pat started off in a co-directorial and leadership role heading up two of the HONDA animated spots. Pat’s background is biased towards art direction with a history balanced between design & 3D.
Iloura also appointed Sigi Eimutis as Head of Commercials. Sigi has been with Iloura for 15 years.
Iloura’s has won awards for work on television commercials each year for the past decade. Most recently acclaim has stemmed from high end animation work, particularly character animation and photo-real modelling.
In 2009 iloura won six awards for their TVC work: Creative of the Year, Best Animation and Best Post Production, Desktop Magazine Create Awards; Best VFX Bronze, AWARD Award and MADC, Bronze Best Post Production Special Effects and Bronze Best Animation.
