Lader a Leader for Vitec Government

Twenty-five year microwave industry veteran Nathan Lader has been appointed as the new vice president of Military, Aerospace and Government (MAG) Programs for RF Systems, a new Vitec division formed uniting the Nucomm and RF Central companies and sales teams. In his new position, Lader oversees and conducts the business development, sales and marketing efforts for the MAG division.
“My plan as new vice president of the MAG Programs is to build awareness regarding the many products RF Extreme has to offer for the government, aerospace and military markets,” says Lader.  “I’m honored to be part of RF Systems’ mission to broaden its reach among MAG customers and in educating the market/the industry about the solutions our products can provide.”
“Nathan is a fine addition to The Vitec Group RF Systems team,” says Stephen Shpock, president of The Vitec Group RF Systems. “His 25 years of combined business and electronic communication experience will be an asset to The Vitec Group RF Systems division.  Through his guidance, we will have the opportunity to reinforce our commitment to serving our military, aerospace and government customers.”
Prior to his current role at RF Systems, Lader served as a marketing and contract administrator with Hughes Aircraft Company where he managed budgets, projects and participated in technical and cost articles for government and military customers. He was also responsible for programs relating to the F-14 AWG-9 Radar, AMRAAM Missile and Phoenix AIM54C Missile Guidance Systems.
Advancing into sales of RF/microwave  components and systems for M. Lader Co., Lader continued to pursue business development of customers involved in military and commercial communication systems, which led to sustained sales above US$3 Million per year.
In 1998, Nathan transitioned into a new position as director of sales/general manager of  M. Lader Co., leading a sales force of 10 engineers and three inside support personnel to a record sales volume of $36M.  He proceeded to move forward in the development of new business opportunities for M. Lader Co., while exercising the usual and customary oversight in regards to budgetary, financial and administrative matters within the company.
Evolving into system level sales and business development in 2007, Lader was regional business development manager for L3 Communications, Telemetry and RF Products division. He oversaw and coordinated marketing, sales and proposal efforts in the northeastern United States and Canada regions. His customer base included Sikorsky Aircraft, Boeing Helicopters, Lockheed Martin, DOD, NAVY, NASA, Canadian Space Agency, and Orbital Sciences.  He worked closely with product line marketing managers to promote RF/Microwave and Data Acquisition products for telemetry and control applications.
