IABM Launches BaM Shop Window

IABM recently launched a new service for broadcast and media technology buyers – the BaM Shop Window. The BaM Shop Window aims to bring all of the products and services available across the industry together into a single portal to enable appropriate solutions and alternatives to be quickly and efficiently discovered by technology buyers. It already includes over 1000 products and services from IABM members, and that number will grow rapidly now that it has been launched. Technology vendors do not have to be IABM members to list their products in the Shop Window.

The BaM Shop Window is structured around IABM’s BaM Content Chain model – describing the industry in the same way that broadcast and media companies themselves think, using the same terminology. It is based on the creative, operational, economic and technical activities supporting the content supply chain, mapping how a piece of content gets from creator to consumer. Every product/service listing includes not only product name and area of application, but also gives vendors the opportunity to provide specifications, technical details, diagrams and images, as well as a link back to the vendor’s website for more in-depth information.
