Postium Korea Debuts New 4K HDR Monitor
Postium Korea, Ltd., designer and manufacturer of video monitoring solutions for broadcast and motion picture production, has announced the introduction of its newest 4K monitor – the OBM-X241 – designed for on-set HDR production and post-production editorial applications.
“The new OBM-X241 is the first 24-inch monitor in the industry to offer full 4K-DCI resolution, 1000 nit peak luminance, and dual-SFP input,” said Sung Il Cho, President at Postium Korea, Ltd., “This makes it ideal for DITs monitoring on-set SDR and HDR camera feeds as well as desktop editorial and QC applications.”
The OBM-X241 offers a wide-range of input options including 3G/6G/12G HD and 4K I/O (active out), HDMI 2.0 I/O and dual-SFP input for up to quad-link 4K over IP. Plus, it provides a rich feature set including a true 10-bit wide gamut IPS LCD, on-screen comparison of two different colour spaces, gammas, HDR/SDR, camera logs and any other colour settings side-by-side simultaneously, user 3D LUT import of 32^³, 33^³, 64^³ and 65^³ cube files, built-in camera log-to-linear conversion of Log-C, C-Log / S-Log2, S-Log3 / J-Log1 with loop out, SDR/HDR Waveform and Vector Scopes, 3D LUT precision calibration, Black Stretch (for checking detail in blacks in bright viewing environments), focus and exposure tools and much more!
