iflix and Black Ops Studios Sign Landmark Production Deal
iflix recently announced the signing of a major production deal with Black Ops Studios Asia to strengthen the slate of iflix originals in the Philippines through projects that combine modern film-making with powerful storytelling.
Black Ops is set to fast track development and production work on at least one film and one series for iflix originals, to be released before the end of the year.
The deal represents iflix’s industry-leading commitment to producing compelling locally relevant content for local customers. Projects from the partnership will join iflix’s slate of premium original content, adding a significant number of new, can’t-miss movies available to iflix subscribers for free.
Speaking from the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), Sherwin dela Cruz, Co-founder and Country Manager for iflix Philippines, said, “iflix has made a strong push for original content, with razor-sharp focus on what our audiences are hungry for.
